Description
one last trip to Scotland before I move stateside
This is Aonach Dubh, or Black Ridge in the Scottish highlands, lying just south of Glen Coe.

Captured late in the day, the warmth in the scene was further enhance by putting my cameras white balence on 'flash' rather than auto
Details and depth in the sky was maintained by using a Cokin ND grad filter
Canon 40d with Sigma 10-20 lens
I won't be returning here for a very long time, so I hope you enjoy this final look at Scotland with me

Ah I love this vast landscape and these cliffs and rocks...they just give a nice sense of scale and depth and make you feel small. Which always leaves a big impression with me. And then the next second I want to put some castles or futuristing buildings on them...
But really, it's a lovely view
