a re-work on a earlier piece taken the same day as the secret tree .this is actually the look i had planned for the outcome, however on seeing the coloured versions i changed my mind and didn't do any PS work on them. but i though now it was high time to see if i could actually achieve what i was going for in the first place!
i wanted a soft, slightly gothic, slightly fantasy, victorian to 1920s feel of photograph, and i think with the adjustments i've made i got something close to what i wanted
to quote The Secret Tree: 'please bear in mind, i have to model, cling to the tree, hold the camera out in front of me, imagine whats on the view screen, and focus, point and shoot, all with one hand, all at once.

i love this. you look like a flower faerie! haha there these old books i have gathering dust in my house but their all paintings of faeries who live in the trees and the like wearing costumes of the flower they are. The crystals on your face and the way that the flowers look like they tie into both your hair and the tree are great :]
