Beautiful photo of your Miho. Is this a custom face-up or default? Looks fantastic. I have a blank Ryu head coming that I'm going to paint, so I'm all excited to see pics other Migidolls right now. Yours is very inspiring!

Congrats on your soon-to-be-there Ryu! They are lovely! I'd really like to have one someday (maybe a
cynical Ryu head for me), I have a huge affinity for Migi boys XD I have a Miho and a Jina boy and
would love to also own a Yuri and Ryu someday!

Jina boys are so great most of the time. And Ryu - he's everywhere! I love to see how different he can look, but I always love him. Cho is the one who has my heart though.

Honestly it took me a while to warm up to wanting a Ryu. They are absolutely gorgeous all of them but they end up almost always looking the same no matter how they are styled. There's only maybe 4 or 5 Ryus I've seen that I've thought looked different. So, while I loved looking at them I didn't really want to own one but after absolutely falling in love with a handful of really darkly styled Ryus I think I would own one some day (far down the road after other dolly plans are completed). I do have a penchant for Jina boys though. I don't think I've ever seen one I didn't like.
Chos are very very pretty though sadly I don't really know what I would do with one.

I often times get dolls having no idea what I'd do with them, for me, it's the most fun this way, though I do understand the stress in such an idea.
I don't know, I like the darker Ryus the best I think, and yes, every time I see Ryu I definitely know it's him, but I still think it's a very versatile face. And of course, common or uncommon, I don't think popularity should be the factor that stops a person from getting a doll if they really love him.

I didn't really mean that (the popularity thing) it doesn't decide a factor for me. If I like a doll I get it but perhaps I worded it oddly? I mean as in they seem to be very popular in one certain type of style which is the non-dark style and while they look lovely I couldn't see myself owning one in that style since it's just not my thing. I don't feel I would even be able to dress them correctly since I'd have no clue what they'd wear etc etc. I tend to lean toward the more dark styles or glam or grungy or fantasy

Haha, ah I completely understand what you mean now, and I think you have a good point. Some people do make decisions based on popularity though. I don't know -- just know what you like and don't be afraid to make it happen is what I believe.
