Split Kit and Ali Gator of the Garbage Pail Kids finish up bringing the WereBears to speed on the Garbage Pail Kids' origins, explaining that the characters on the trading cards were given life by an evil wizard named Iniznam Niatpac in hopes that they'd be his minions. They mention that while most of the Garbage Pail Kids knew better than to obey Iniznam, some weren't as resistant to his corruption. The evil Garbage Pail Kids seen are Greaser Greg, Graffiti Petey, Juicy Jessica, and Curly Carla.

The Kids and the WereBears later go to the lab of Brainy Brian, who shows the WereBears the new toys they've made for their mission with assistance from Odd Todd and Frank N. Stein.

Fang brings up that Growler is the only one of the WereBears who can change into their WereBear form at will. Brainy Brian gives a bottle of lunar pills as the solution, stating that one pill will trigger a transformation for a few hours.
