I spent so long staring at this painting trying to make it better..After numerous changes, I decided to keep it as it is.

keep it as it is was the best choice you could have made I think since it's totally awesome. These colors are truly beautiful and the movements are so great, your art kept on growing better and better when I was away from DA. You're definitely one of the best.

i really like how even though the background is condensed or consists in that small amount of space the character juts out with the cloth but at the same time works so well with the back. (if that makes any sense haha)

woah... the background (the strip in the middle) and the girl/fabric creature (sorry... i cant tell if shes meant to be a fish or something) could be two separate works, and still be equally stunning.

Theres way too much to like here.
The pose of the hands is very elegant.. the flow of the hair, the organic background.. the wide and vivid use of color.. all impressive. Blending the body and dress is a great idea! It's the best of both worlds I have to say.

I'm super sad I didn't get a chance to see you at AX this year. I had major issues with my feet and couldn't walk much especially around the giant Artist Alley. Are you on Poupee much these days?

Awe. That's too bad on both things. How long ago were you banned? Another one of my friends there was banned but her account got reactivated after a period. She didn't even need to do anything...that I'm aware of anyway.
Why not go back to Artist Alley? -as I glance up at the 2 prints I bought from you in 09- Will you still go to AX?

Oh man.. I think I was banned like early this year. I never got around to asking how to get un-banned. Which is a shame cos I have lots of rare items in there ><
Oh, I will probably do Otakon next year but I'm not sure about AX. I've since moved so it's a little more expensive to get there now, and I heard there's lots of drama last year with it so it's kinda creeping me out too, lol. Have you been to other cons?

Drama? Really? I wonder how/why. I'm also wondering if we should move this little conversation to notes instead. One of my friends is really keen on doing Artist Alley for next year. With that bit about drama maybe it's not a good idea.
I've only ever go to AX and went to ComiCon once eons ago. The quality of AX has really gone down since it went to LA. I keep telling my girlfriends we need to forsake AX one of these years and go to ComiCon or even Sakura Con. Where is Otakon anyway?
That so sucks about being banned from Poupee. What really sucks is that we can't directly trade with each other. Ah well. I'm sure if you really wanted to get your account back you could. Who knows though.

XD Note sent. Don't let it deter your friend though. If she wants to go and have fun and don't care about the money, she will have fun XD But I went there with a big overhead (cos I flew+hotel etc) and was very stressed so I may be biased.
Otakon is in Baltimore, Maryland. People have differing opinions about it, but I'm going back even if I have to go only by myself XD
Ugh, I will check poupee and see, but that thing is a time killer and I'm afraid of going back to the black hole. Then again I spent so much money on it T_T
