which is unusual as i don't do "characters".
but i feel like this concept exists independently of my execution of it; subconsciously in the collective mind of humanity.
so there.
i feel bad cause i was actually really lazy this time; see the sketchiness of all that shit? especially the thorns...eep. oh well, i wasn't really trying super hard so that's what happens....

My God this is fabulous.
I love the integration of what looks like three different cultures. The Asian eyes with the shamanesque skull and the punk/Jamaican Dreads. You have integrated thsese styles to make the piece look both jarring and flowing at the same time.
I wouldn't worry too much about sketchiness, I think it fits the piece wonderfully.

I think this is one of your best, really. The idea behind it and the drawing itself (even if you think it's sketchy) is just really powerful. And never mind the sketchiness, i think it's really well done!
My shaman "character" that i dress up as wears a skull on her(my) head like that. It actualy took me a few minutes to click, why this idea seamed familiar to me! For me, wearing a skull is a bit like becoming a wild beast, quite like men going to war are acting as wild beasts. The message comes accross very well in your drawings, she's like a modern goddess!

My god god, this gives me pause... It's creepy how similar your own subconscious output is to mine, though of course your execution is very different. This somehow tugs at me... I identify with it, though apart from the surface similarities of our art, I cannot say why.

I think it's wonderfuly executed, to be honest. Even the inherent sketchiness of the drawing adds to the character itself. Truly beautiful, love the gradation. <3
