No the wing and long feathers are actually that color. I made it a little over exaggerated because I was having fun with it. The fur and top of the wings are iridescent though.

Oh, I thought it was iridescent, because of the color scheme and everything else being flat colored. Hehe, sorry. ^^

I see what you mean. Later on I'll be trying iridesence myself.
I love the purple feathers, and I wanted to make a starry-night like underwing for nighttime hunting. Or just pretty decoration
