my oc, lord ianos! i liked the kissing picture so much that i wanted to draw more of him. not an actual intelligence uniform i know, but he’s not actually intelligence either, just works with them.and the more i get to know him, the more i love him. he’s not as bad as he looks i guess; order is very important to him, in the very literal sense. he is a compulsive cleaner, extremely organized, multitasking is easy for him. he works for fun. being in control is probably the most important thing in his life, he gets severely anxious when things get out of hand. his apartment looks like it came straight out of a catalogue.
he is also a uniform fetishist with masochistic tendencies, and there has not been a single day so far that he has not felt guilty and dirty, but it’s the one thing in his life he has no control over.
he also used to be pretty racist; he’s questioning a lot of things now since he started working with nawar’ayy and developed a serious crush on him.
and he loves post punk and dark wave music.

That symbol in the back is very familiar, is it from somewhere in Star Wars? I can't quite put my finger on it...reminds me a little of the Eight Pointed Star symbol used by the Chaos in Warhammer 40k.

yes; he has always had a bit of trouble to fully embrace the sith code, that is part of the reason why he prefers to work for the military, in a more organizational/desk job (it's a bit hard to explain for me in english, sorry).
he has always been a bit scared to just give in to his emotions, you never know where you might end up this way.
i have actually wondered for a short time if he would have made a better jedi, were he born into the republic; but i think not, because he is a very emotional and anxious person inside, and not at peace at all. he just shies away from using those emotions.
the symbol is the sith empire emblem from the time of the old republic.

With what you say about the character, he may have been more comfortable as a grey jedi (though I'm not sure if those are actually canon or not).
