Description My take on Artorias, the Abysswalker but seen as a hunter from Bloodborne.

This is my first coloring of this level.

LORE:

Hunter Artorias is the first hunter that was sent into nightmare to hunt.
A special rune was given to him to wistand the madness of the place.

To fight, he used a plain giant silver sword of massive weight that cut the beasts in half.
After the death of lady Maria, he incorporated a golden sword that she had given him as a sign of friendship into this weapon.
The sword can be separated into a big giant silver sword and a golden silver sword.
This breaks a capsule of powerful poison that coats the blade.
When the blades are put together again, this weapon will slowly drain life from its wielder for 30 seconds as to refill the capsule.
If the blades a separated again before this time is up, they won't be coated in poison at all.

Artorias knew nightmares could host the ghosts of dead hunters.
And so, he went on searching lady Maria.
In never found her but instead engaged in a dreadful fight with a giant silver back werewolf.
Unable to win this fight, the two of them began to confuse who was who.
A bit of the beast went into the hunter and a bit of the hunter went into the beast.

Artorias can be found deep in a cell in the most secret dungeon of the church. He has gone terribly mad and spread a miasma that he projects around him. He can partly transfroms into a silver beast. He's got only his right arm left which he uses to wield the golden sword.

The beast can be found in a hard-to-access nightmare, wielding the giant silver sword.

You know...

The weapons of the Abyss Watchers would be a real nice idea for this guy.

Yup ! Actually, it could be very neat to have that kind of weapon for him !
A bit unoriginal now that DS3 is out but still neat.

I can picture Gough as a fusion between Havel Dragontooth (when one handed) and Simon Bow (when two handed).
Ornstein's weapon would obviously have been crafted by Archibald.
Has for Ciaran, it houd have a piercing mechanism (the hornet oblige).

Yep, I really would love to see them in Bloodborne fashion. While everyone is after DS3, I still love Bloodborne and can't stop loving it (heck I stopped using shields because of it)

Gough's hammer and Bow, that would be a awesome combination.

Another thought:

Imagine Tarkus.
Imagine Solaire.
Imagine Siegmeyer.
Imagine Lautrec.

All of them as Bloodborne characters.

I did Tarkus on a note.

Solaire is actually kind of in the game already as Valtr.
If you don't like that guy, just picture him wearing a more military-like white vest with many sun-shaped medals on it.
As for his weapon, this one is tricky (lol). He is known for his straightforward weapon so... Maybe something like the church spike.

Siegmeyer would be an interesting one. He probably would were an armor made of thick leaver and many layers of clothes. Like many turbans but on his belly rather than his head. He would most likely use my Claymore trickweapon. I don't know why but I picture him with a harpoon launcher.
Unless I give him a Bloodborne-y stormmaster as a nod to Siegward.

Lautrec needs me to reflect more on him. But he probably would wear many jewels and shinies on top of his attire.

Saw it

I think Solaire would be the classy knight, but worshipping the morning sun. As for his armor, something like this s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/7… with a feather and chest full of Sunlight Medals.

I love Valtr, he is the best in Bloodborne, but nobody can replace the sun fanatic for me.

You know, I had that same thought, the claymore thing would fit perfectly to Siegmeyer.

Lautrec is kind easy. Give him the Pthumerian descendant sickles and he'll maim you for funnsies He'd be a awesome Jack the Ripper, given his history with women.

Well, I don't like the Ptumerian shotel ! They are boring and unimaginative.
They didn't put any effort in them.
I think you can do way better with twin-shotels for a trick weapon.

KnightyNightey In reply to Lucky-Trident [2016-07-02 09:46:59 +0000 UTC]

A twin shotel that can be split in two and be tossed like a boomerang. Alternative idea would be a weapon like the Crescent Moon Sickle of Leonhard. That would be interesting.

I've got other ideas put they would need more thinking.

As for Gough's weaponry, the two hand machete of Yhorm would be a nice base.

One/two hand for smacking and pulling a string within the bow to fire arrows. Still, needs some works.

In fact, I'd probably give him a bigger and meanier version of the boom-hammer or something.

How about making it a small commission? Remaking the four knights for me?

Ideas we can discuss over the note. How about that?

Lucky-Trident In reply to KnightyNightey [2016-05-31 21:16:11 +0000 UTC]

Sorry, but commissions are a bit impossible right now. I'm very busy and as you can see I haven't been very active on DA lately...

I might do it one of these days anyways.
I have to do Velka right now.
I've finally passed a new milestone on that project ! The ashen one is done !

After that, I'll go back to do some pokémons again.

Then I ask you of something different:

You know of the Anime RWBY? It's similar to Bloodborne, but more futuristic.

I know of it ! It's cute and cool but I've never taken the time to watch past the 10th episode.

What do you want me to do related to it ?

KnightyNightey In reply to Lucky-Trident [2016-05-31 22:22:12 +0000 UTC]

I have ideas for weapons. Some of them are Bloodborne related, but I lack ideas atm.
Let's discuss by note.

It's not something I would expect seeing from you (after your fakemon), but it is damn awesome!

Thanks !
I know it seems like a shocker but I've come back to Deviantart with bloodborne weapons concepts. Then I did fakemons. XD

My main sources of inspiration are :
1) Pokemon
2) Zelda
3) Dark Souls
4) Peter Pand and Alice
5) Manga and Anime in general

Thanks for the kind words & for faving.

I just had this idea that Artorias scarf was pretty bloodborne-y. And that his helmet could very simply be a grey hat.
This led to that. XD

I see...yeah right. now I wonder what kind of trick weapon his sword would be. x3

and you're welcome.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lucky-Trident In reply to DerEnKah [2015-12-02 22:37:04 +0000 UTC]

Well... I wrote it in the description.

There is a big silver sword with a small gold sword that clicks inside.
When they are put together, the blood of the wielder is drained for 30 seconds (drain a bit of HP) that generates a capsule of poison.
When the swords are separated, the capsule breaks to coat them in poison.

This is inspired by two things :

1) Artorias broken arm spilling miasma in its boss state
2) Ciaran silver and golden tracer.

If you love trick weapons, check my Bloodborne folder. There are plenty of concepts.

DerEnKah In reply to Lucky-Trident [2015-12-02 22:42:42 +0000 UTC]

That is actually a pretty nice concept. So it's a greatsword and a poisonous normal sword if I get it right. neat.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lucky-Trident In reply to DerEnKah [2015-12-03 00:13:59 +0000 UTC]

Yeah !

It's Artorias GS in its normal state.
And in its transformed state, it is a poisonous big silver sword + poisonous shorter golden sword.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DerEnKah In reply to Lucky-Trident [2015-12-03 00:31:26 +0000 UTC]

Ah...poisonous in both variations. x3 I thought only the golden sword would be toxic. :3 x3 sounds like a good weapon. x3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Lucky-Trident In reply to DerEnKah [2015-12-03 07:54:04 +0000 UTC]

No the normal form isn't poisonous.
But the tricked form, the dual blades is poisonous on both blades.

Also, if you don't let the poison capsule refill in between two transformations, it will not become poisonous.
