Description It has come to my attention that the "fit Morphs" does not work in DAZ Studio, so I made the Victoria 4 headpeice as an OBJ file and parented it to her head.

This should work in DAZ Studio because it's a whole ather OBJ file already fitting V4.

Sorry, I didn't know that it didn't work in DAZ Studio, but I do, make my work good as far as fixing little problems that comes along. This was the first time someone told me about the error, and thank you for the input. It helps to make for good models in the future.

Let me know as soon as posible, so I can get this posted at Rendersity.

I too, hope it works, (in theroy it should work) and I'll know what I need to do for future models.

It works! Sorry, it took me so long, but I was busy..
Well, first I tried it on my character Arada, for which I reduced the head-morph to 80%. So the headpiece didn't fit very well, either around the face-morphs. Well, no tragedy, Arada usually doesn't wear a headpiece anyway.
The I tried default V4 with the headmorph at 100% and it fits perfectly! Here's the evidence-photo: [link]

Well, I may make some minor changes on Arada...
Anyway: Thank you again very much for making this!
(And maybe you could give me some tips how to model in Carrara? I also have a copy, but didn't come along with it so I don't use it... a shame, I know)

Glad it works, and I be working with Carrara 5 and they already have Carrara 7, so I been working with it for a while.

I still don't know everything about Carrara and I'm always making new discoveries with that program.

I can give tips with the program or answer questions you may have.

Oh, thank you very much!
Well, I have Carrara 3D Express, I got it while it was on sale some time (about a year?) ago.
Well, I tried to make a little item for V4 recently, but I don't know how to model it around her. In the assembly-room I don't have all the tools and possibillities I need, but when I switch to the model-room, I only have the primitive I started with, the modifications I made in the assembly-room are gone and I can't see Victoria. How did you do that?

What I do is start with a NEW project (empty), and IMPORT an Obj file. (if you want to model something for V4... say a belt around her hips, Open the V4 obj in Gemomectics Not character CR2. Reason is you get a character with bones and it gets to be a pain to work with.

Next, Select Victoria 4 and go to the modeling room, (You may have to covert it to a vertex model so when prompt, select vertex model.

Now you have Vicki in the modeling room and can begin modeling her belt or whatever. If highlighted work gets unselected, go to the select menu at the top and use the seclect by shading Name.

When you get it to look the way you want, select Victoria and delete her leaving your new model.

Ofcorse, I don't know if DAZ Studio has a Import/Export of obj files, if it does, then go to DAZ Studio and export the parts where your Model will contact Vicki body and import that into Carrara 3D Express.

I hope this helps.

Oooh. A Twi'lek tutorial on the headset. Your background in this pic is very vivid. Very unique digital warm-ups for this project. That's a gorgeous Victoria 4.

ooo good work!

But here's an interesting question for you: Why exactly are all of the male Twi'leks butt ugly with knobby looking forheads and the females are fine looking creatures?

I never did get that about SW

Well, don't judge ALL male Twi'leks on Bib Fortuna or Senator Orn Free Taa, they were both "Butt-Ugly"

I've seen others who didn't look like they were clobbered with a big ugly club. I played Star Wars Galaxies as a male Twi'lek and he wasn't ugly at the least.

In the Clone Wars 3 parter, they showed their home planet and alot of them looked good, like guys with head tails.

I may make a male character in a comic I'm going to do for Lucky Nova, where Captain Lucky aquires Nolaa.
