This is my submission for the KH Fanzine, Worlds Connected, which is a collaboration between artists and writers. The theme for this Zine is "time," which can be interpreted quite loosely, and was based from the 2.8 trailer. Here is where you can view other people's works. The deadline is on August 26, but it will take a month or two for the creators to select from the variety of submissions to put into the Zine.

You can read the accompanying piece here . My partner and I decided to focus our collab on Xion's life and her perspective in 358/2 Days with the addition of some non-canon scenes. We hoped that by replicating Roxas' diary format that we could have conveyed the passage of time. In this piece, Xion is shown holding up the same Thalassa shell that Roxas picked up after she had disappeared, slowly returning back to Sora, evident by the crystals surrounding her body. The shell is close to her ear to indicate her listening to the sounds of waves, reminiscing "her" times when "she" was in Destiny Islands. I was thinking of adding tears, but then I remembered that she didn't cry in that last scene with Roxas. Her face showed acceptance of her fate yet also sadness because she had to leave her best friends for the greater good.
