The Girl of Steel, the Iron Angel, the Queen's Favorite.....the penny press was full of nicknames for the flying powerhouse who soared all over the vast British Empire helping its citizens and peoples, but most people just called her Supergirl.

Since her rocket crashed down in a farmer's field in Surrey, Clara Kent was raised by a loving family with good Christian values. When her vast powers began to manifest, it was only natural for her family to turn to the local magistrate for help. Things were escalated until the Home Secretary was given a demonstration as the girl effortlessly overpowered three massive steam locomotives and tore a large hole in the side of a Royal Navy ironclad.

The girl was granted an audience with Queen Victoria at Windsor and while no one knows what was discussed in their 60 minutes together, a relationship was clearly formed between the young girl-goddess and her monarch. Supergirl became a fixture in the skies above the Empire from that day forward, her famous blue and red, chosen to mimic the colors of the Union Jack, becoming a symbol for law and order, hope and glory.
