Pinkrain, for once, was fully terrfied of the cult. And after the patrol sent to the abandoned twoleg place came back mauled, she was terrified less for herself, but her kits. Swanpaw (and presumably Skullpaw) were to become warriors. Bumblelove and Ghosthowl were already full-grown warriors. And while not onen of her children, Jackdaw was a warrior too. What if they came back mauled as well? Or worse, what if they didn't?

She'd allowed him to prance the territory. She couldn't afford to do that anymore.
