I love the ParentStuck AU version of Homestuck. Its just a great way to have all versions of your favorite fantroll existing in one timeline, one universe. Of course, it breaks the idea that trolls don't actually do any parenting, but I submit to you that the lusi came into the story when the queen banished all adults off the planet, because before that point, we don't actually know how trolls approached parenthood or if they did at all. I think they did. They built huge grand cities, didn't they? Well, you would need some kind of society to be able to do that. Living together entails taking care of younger trolls and teaching them the trades they need to function as adults. It's logical, it makes sense, and I go by that for the regular Homestuck universe. It would seem completely pointless and waste of time to have a personal symbol that gets handed down to the next generation in your bloodline if trolls really, really didn't care about their future descendents.

And so, The proud Psiioniic holds up his precious little one, wondering what life will be like for him once he becomes an adult. Born in one of Alternia's spring times, the two yellow bloods look over the world, one weary of it's evils, and one still so new to the world that all his simple little heart knows is happiness with his parent. The older wishes for many more safe and happy spring times with his precious little gift.
