Okay a lot of fans probably do know this, but some fans probably still dont because I didnt even know this until last month.

The Daycare Attendant was meant to be an actor in the theatre. And that makes a lot of sense why Sun is so loud, dramatic and very animated--he was designed and programmed to perform and hold an audience's attention. Moon was supposed to play the villain role.

But a complete reprogramming was far too expensive, so they just made a few adjustments on Sun's half of the AI which is why he does try to take care of children even though he doesnt realize he's too loud and invasive with space, but he does try. And even though he does accidently scare children, they still do like to play with him, because his back is covered in little handprints from kids trying to play with him and trying to grab the handle on his back (its the thing that hold's Moon's hook and cable).

And the too expensive reprogramming was the reason why they never fixed up Moon's programming and just stuck generators in the daycare to keep the lights on 24/7. Being a performer also makes a lot of sense why Moon does a lot of tumbling and contorting--I mean why would he need skills like that to put children to bed for a nap? But it makes more sense if you consider these are part of a performance.

It's said somewhere in one of the Books, I think it was Bobbiedots, that explain the Daycare Attendant's mishandled origins. Now I dont know whats what with the books--are they canon? Yes? No? I dont even know anymore. But this revelation of the Daycare Attendant's actual purpose does make a lot of sense to a lot of little things about Sundrop and Moondrop.

Yes, I know the wiki does mention it--well it does now because Ive read it before and I dont really remember this part being in the behavior section but I could be wrong because I cant remember the last time I read the wiki-its been quite awhile and more things get added to everything with every weird book that comes out.

So yeah, I didnt know he was supposed to be an actor until recently. And it made me wonder how many other people or fans didnt realize that. Thats why I wrote this.
