Another late drawing for last month's Pokécember challenge. The prompt for Day 15 was Favorite Ice Type, and so I made this picture of Lapras. The snowflake symbol in the background is from the Icium Z crystal in the Gen 7 games. I also tried making the ground look like smooth ice reflecting her underbelly, though the reflections and the bluish tint aren't very visible. I remember seeing an episode from the anime when I was a kid that had a talking Lapras; she communicated telepathically with Ash and Co., and she had a really nice, mystical-sounding voice. (IIRC, it was the Christmas episode with Jynx that later got banned because of her original black coloring). I also like Lapras's design and how Pokédex entries always describe her as a friendly, mild-mannered Pokémon. I haven't trained a Lapras yet, though I do plan to the next time I replay Blue or XY.

I like Lapras's design, and also the voice she had in one of the anime episodes. I've never trained a Lapras, though; I've only ever trained one Ice Type Pokémon (Glalie in Omega Ruby), in fact, and he was the least used member of my team.
