Description For a casual Lord of the Rings-ish role-play.

1. Er. She's basically a wizard, I suppose, but in a dragon sense. Hard to explain, and she's entirely original to my concept and very non-Tolkein-esque, but oh well. I indulged. Yes. She's heavily based off of Catherine Zeta Jones.

2. Orassion Gondwe. Dark-skinned elf of Mirkwood FTW. As much as I love the pale, blondie that is Legolas in the movies, when I read the books, I had always pictured him look more weathered and made of darker colors.

3. An easterling! At least I think that's what they're called. He is from Rhun, and that is where this new fellowship is headed. He will serve as their guide, as he is well-informed of the uncharted lands.

4. Suorden Tormek, a creation of Larquinn, and a very proud craftsman. Though not much of a warrior, he excels in the creation of fine jewelry, weapons, and other metal-made objects. That ruby was his first find within the Glittering Caves and is very precious to him.

5. Gilrin Agaddorn, my personal dwarf, and an excellent cook. He's more familiar and tolerant of elves than his best friend, Suordon, primarily because he spends a lot of his time trading with elves and men for spices, meat, and the like. He's jolly, friendly, the loving husband of Haglana Agaddorn, and doting father of little Haglani Agaddorn.

6. Okay, so most people here might not approve of the dwarf/elf slashing, but I do. Orassion and Suordon have their differences at first, but after much time together, they become as close as Gimli and Legolas, and then some. This is a shot of them before battle, where they are to be separated upon the field, and Orassion is giving his blessing of protection to the dwarf he's so fond of.

7. I won't say much about this, just that Glahaniel's gift to Suordon at the start of their journey will come in handy. The supposed Ent Tears can heal a single creature of any ailment or sickness.

8. GIFTS. From Glahaniel, to be precise. She's a descendant of Arwen and Aragorn, and in our story, the current maiden of what's left of the sanctuary of Lothlorien. Gladriel 2.0 if you will. Before the fellowship leaves her company, she gives them each a rare and special gift to aide them on their quest.
