Where does your heart lie?Can I give you my trust?
I can't help but wonder...
is it true love or is it lust...?
We've been through this before,
and I was worrying for nothing.
You admitted your feelings after,
but is it your true feeling?
Am I just worrying too much?
So much that I freak myself out?
So much that I drive myself insane,
filling my soul with piercing shouts?
You hide your inner feelings,
saying you're keeping it on down low.
But why is it when we're alone,
I can't feel the love I once know?
Am I just being a paranoid?
Just being scared for nothing?
But every fear is rational,
so should I be worrying?
But then again thinking back,
you've been really sweet to me.
You did many little things for me,
and you also felt some jealousies.
That indicates you care,
so you do like me then, right?
And everything you said was true,
and I'm just giving myself a fright.
My head continues to spin,
as the confusion pollutes my heart.
My thoughts are playing tug-o-war,
and it's tearing my mind apart.
So where exactly does your heart lie?
Can I really give you my trust?
I can't help but wonder sometimes,
is it true love or is it lust...?

I question the existence of either.
It is a beautifully written poem which loops back in on itself in a fluid and natural way. Pure talent and skill.
Talent aside, the only thing keeping me from favoriting this piece is the content ... but that has nothing to do with your skills or abilities.

I know exactly what this poem is saying...been there and occaisionally still am there with the relationship I'm in at the moment...sucks...but ah well
