There's a lot going on in this picture. Is it in the way the jacket encases her or as her chin juts out? I agree with whoever said there's a particular stillness about this. Dark, dim, lovely.

Wow, beautiful!! XD I had to check to see if it was photograph or not! Her pose is so soft and the detail of her clothes, the frame of the painting in the background, the light value on her face- gorgeous! And I love oils too! Though, I've never tried them on panel. Does that work better for you than canvas?

The proportion in her face is off, but overall, good.
