Thoughts: This is an image of a Protoss, more specifically that of Tassadar, of the Templar.

Tassadar was a significant figure in recent Protoss history, and one to exhibit a surprising array of personality. Found in the game Starcraft, at a time when RTS games were not known for their depth of characters and situations, some of the interactions which Tassadar had lent to the storyline were rather notable. (As a note, I know of no existing current concept artwork or images of him, but that may soon change.)

I cannot easily summarize the depth of Tassadar's effect, but it stands to reason that consideration of his character and his traits had long left much to conjecture and pensive regard. To a degree, that has changed somewhat with recent Blizzard-inspired literary material; I remain rather unimpressed with much of the current content (be that as it may, being only my personal opinion). For now, it's simply good to have drawn him again: it's been a long time, and there is a foundational sentiment in reflecting on him.

Details: A short sketch completed for a friend, one of a simple series.

Materials: mechanical pencil, 6B graphite stick, blue col-erase, basic Xerox paper, a touch of watercolor, and a slight amount of calligraphy ink.

Cynicide: I am aware of multiple errors here, but it is a rather unfounded sketch, and that is much to be expected.
