It's pretty nice how the focus is really on him and you can see the contrast between the beautiful red hair and the deep focusing blue eyes. It also looks pretty authentic, there's nothing too much like most of the 'stereotyped vikings' show. The clothes are not overdone and so the axe. It looks so natural and deep.
And I like how the background is blurred, it somehow emphasizes his thoughtful gaze. Everyone experienced that, when you think of something really intensively, the real world is pretty far away and you have that blurry imagery.
What a handsome man, thanks for capturing him on a very nice picture like this one!

I think i am experiencing beard envy but at least i got the hair! This is a gorgeous image, one wonders what the viking is thinking of, staring at, there is a fair amount of emotion in the face too
