Description
I was in Macy’s recently and spied one of the cashiers doing odd things with her shoes almost as if she was playing shoe games. I watched from a isle a few feet away and noticed she was stocking things near by in just her socks!! She was literally sneaking around the store floor in just black ped socks! I’m not sure if her shoes were hurting her feet or something but she frequented back to the cash register where I’m guessing her flats were because a couple times she was on the floor with her shoes on; but if they were by the time she got back to the register she had kicked them off again. At this point I new I had to get one or both of her shoes from the register when she wasn’t looking hehe. There was nothing more exciting than wanting to see her panic as she realizes her shoes got nicked!! And to my luck a customer came up and started to ask her a question while her back was turned to me! I quickly took the moment to scurry over to the cash registers and located her worn flats!! In an instant I put them in my purse and hurried back to the isle I was in. I really could not beleive I had just conviscated this poor girls shoes lol!! And just as I expected shortly after the women was done talking to her she walked back to the registers and boom!! Her face went completely red! She started to panic almost immediately and was looking EVERYWHERE around the registers. She put her hand on her head and looked out into the store; she could not beleive it. I knew I had to get a photo and get her reaction so i waited a couple mins before going over to ask where an item was. She had walked back out onto the floor and was now scanning isles I guess in hopes someone had left her shoes there. I caught her in a isle and asked where what I was looking for was at and she turned around a little startled and put one of her socked feet over the other as to I guess hide them because she was embarrassed now she was forced to permanently be in her stocking feet lol. After I had asked her I made a remark about her socks and she was quick to apologize because she wouldn’t normally be in her socks on the floor because it’s unprofessional but she mentioned she had “misplaced” her shoes so she didn’t have any choice lol. I thanked her and walked away toward the exit knowing her worn shoes were safe in my purse.
