I've only played the demo of the remake, but in the original, my best team is always Psyduck and... whatever's good at protecting Psyduck at the beginning of the game cuz until near the end, Psyduck is yellow trash.

Psyduck's super good for Sky Tower cuz he has Cloud Nine for his ability, which prevents weather effects from ever appearing, and that's awesome for preventing pesky rain and hail and all that jazz. It also has Damp for its secondary ability (cuz back then, PokΓ©mon in the MD games would have both abilities), so the Koffings all over the dungeon can't explode. Psyduck was super broken in that dungeon.
