Thought you folks would like to see the "before" version of the Nova piece I posted. Typically I just doodle like there's no tomorrow, and when I do something I think would look cool digitally, I then ink the sketch, scan it, digitally remove the pencil lines ('cause I hate to erase--lazy me) and convert it to an Illustrator file, so I can play with everything about it (and just undo what I did if I'm not happy about it!).
