This is a spoiler for Kirby Planet Robobot! Don't look or read the description of you don't want to be spoiled!After putting the pieces of Haltmannβs story together, I realized just how messed up and SAD it is. That poor man By the time I figured everything out, I had to fight the heart of Star Dream in the True Arena, and hearing Haltmannβs moans of agony every time you hit a pillar that got quieter each time before fading away completely had my whole body trembling by the end. Never before had I felt so much during a video game in my life.
I made his "fading out of existence" effect like the process of a drawing, starting from a fully shaded and detailed picture to just a basic sketch.

It was the first soul battle in which I actually felt bad.
And I'm always bothered when my brother tells me the same old "This is for babies" excuse, yet doesn't bother to piece together what's probably the most tragic Kirby story.

Yeah, I agree. I imagine that Haltmann was actually a very great businessman and father, just with high ambitions... before he lost his daughter and went insane with grief, that is lol

I like the fading writing and the expression it gives me a good idea of how that scene feels.

That's what I love about Kirby, it seems so innocent, but when you read between the lines, it's actually very dark and terrifying.
Yeah, his expression was rather difficult for me to pull off, because it's hard to show pain on someone who has such a ridiculous mustache... lol

I have never fought Zero or Zero Two, I'd love to play those games someday, it's hard to find them for a smooth running emulator, though

I can imagine the N64 one being tricky but finding one to get to Zero with shouldn't be as hard I think.
