14/09/09YAY!!! I won second place in the contest in my school!!!! so this picture will be printed & framed and will decored with others 4 drawings our school walls, yay!!!

I haven't submit nothing for a long time...so well I did a new look to this picture because I never finish it...and I still don't (and maybe never I'll do...when I could I get horrible sick so I couldn't and now I don't have computer ¬¬U). Anyway, the look before was more bright, but this picture was somehow...like horror...so now I think I get the feeling right :3 hope you like the new version, the other can be see in my scrap section ;3
Well now here is the explanation:
I always believe that ppl who see ghost, have the "light" so that's why only some can see them.
For me the limbo is total darkness, you can see nothing and when somebody died in a horrible way, they stay in the limbo hoping to live once again. So when they see the "Light" they chase it with everything, that's why they follow you and some are really bad, because the darkness make them desperate and the end they became evil.

Symbols
The candle: I did this as a representation of the ligth.The human:Representation of the victims of the Light and also from the darkness. The ppl who see ghost are victims too, they didn't choose to have it and like the dead want the life, the human became a vessel who have to fight, so his/her life won't be taken. Darkness and hands: Are the Limbo and the dead (ghosts), who are lurking in the darkness for the light, when they see it, they want it no matter what and some became evil. The texture I gave to the picture, show their corrupted nature. The Victorian dress:I did this kind of dress as a way to show the complexity of this relationship and also to show the old nature of this fight for the ones who have the Light of life and the ones who wish it. And that's all the meaning, actually I really love doing this, took me a while, but I really love how it looked :3

Love all the symbolism behind this. The red outlines of the grasping hands gives me the feeling of claustrophobia. This unsettles me in a good way. The gritty texture in the hands adds to this as well, also love the texture in the gems of her necklace and the lace.

btw the meanings r awesome. Did u make the thing about the darkness nd light up or do u think its real? I think i see ghosts sometimes.

Impresionante O.O!. La historia de la imagen me agrada y la imagen en si esta excelente!, adoro el vestido(Ah!los estampadOs!), lo adoooorooo!, tambien los accesorios, la luz, el detalle del fondo.
