The one and only <3I saw the new movie recently... Quinto was amazing, but Nimoy will always be Spock, as far as I'm concerned. I know alot of people have been complaining about the huge timeline changes the movie made, but TBH I'm embracing it. Think: now there's an excuse for a million new movies/shows, plus a universe containing 2 Spocks instead of one! If there's a downside to this, I'm failing to see it.
The only minor letdown for me was the lack of Shatner, even in the form of a cameo
(did anyone else think Scotty deserved triple the screen-time he got?!)
FULLVIEW IT (I dont own Trek or any of that crap, blah blah)

Well consider this: Star Trek was what "started it all". The Space Race, the surge of Technology...Star Trek is responsible for the COMPUTER! Can Wars beat that??? Oh and BTW...I watched some of the episodes of Wars....HORRIBLE acting. HORRIBLE. Star Trek episodes are not empty; especially not the Voyager series. You should watch it for once, and see just how un-empty it is!
Oh YEAH? Well, add a Promethius Class to that Galaxy class, and new armour that can withstand even the STRONGEST ATTACKS, then put a bunch of Defiants there, and your poor super star destroyer is destroyed! The Defiant class and Promethius class are LOADED with photon torpedoes. YOUR SUPER STAR DESTROYER DOES NOT STAND A CHANCE.
Oh and your precious Star Destroyer doesn't stand a chance when it's attacked by Reman Warbird Schimitar. THAT is a weapon on wings! It contains Thaleron radiation, which even just a tiny amount can consume matter! (AKA destroy it) They almost succeeded in consuming Earth with only a tiny amount! Imagine your Star Destroyer???
Oh yeah, and something I don't quite understand about Star Wars. If it's "A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far Away"...then HOW are there HUMANS??? That makes NO SENSE.
Heee, that Trek movie was certainly...different, but PHENOMENAL. Now they have an excuse to come up with a gazillion movies, or maybe a new series! I might know why it was so crazy: The producer was the same guy who came up with the TV series LOST. If you haven't seen it, watch it; it will make ZERO sense. But it's GOOD.

this is the law of universe every thing grow in defrent shapes to make best body with less energy if it needs to be look like a human it will no matter where it is and they look like human but who knows wht they like inside i mean may be they didnt have a heart or any thing witch humans have beside with humans in there it made the movie far more friendlier to watcher and fans btw there is lots of awesome characters in that movie witch trek didnt any one close like general general grievous or most important then ALL DARTH VADER he can crush ur pitiful army in only few mins
when i was a kid i saw both movies for me as a 8 years boy star wars with all those light sabers and sound and being a jedai and all was like dream witch i always love and trek was a classic war between good and evil witch worth die trying in Iran 99.9 % of ppl grow with star wars but still some ppl here admire the trek movies any ways here movies are so cheep so i didnt find any reason not to buy both full series from there cartoons or movie and i have to say they are really different movies but both worth fighting for

So we don't have Darth Vader, eh? Well we DO have the Borg, and their Queen! They would assimilate your characters and turn them into Borg! Muahahaha! Not to mention the amazing Q! Q is an immortal being who cannot be harmed except by his own kind, and can do literally anything! HA!
You're right, both series are good. I just grew up on Star Trek; when I was like...6 or something I started, so I became dedicated to Trek.

The last Trek Movie...as in Nemesis, or the REALLY new one? Well anyways, Star Wars was created AFTER Star Trek, and THEY copied the idea of using Photon Torpedoes so THERE. COPYCATS.
Are you so sure of that? Face them against the Romulans or the Klingons and they'll use their cloaking devices so your ship can't see or sense thm! Then they'll obliterate your ships!
If it is a timeshp, it can't be blown up like that; they get sent back in time to a point where teh ship is intact. No destroying these babies! You'd be wasting energy.
So R2D2 and C3P0 have emotions? I know Data is emotionless; but that makes him funny. You haven't seen the best of Data; just the epic win of Data vs. Klingon General. Then you have the Holographic Doctor from Voyager. HE has emotions and he can't be harmed physically so there. More energy wasted in trying to kill him. But guess what? HE can kill yor oh-so powerful WARS characters! Here, watch this. [link] So it was just a slap. But imagine him actually FIGHTING.
I wouldn't be so sure; the Borg will adapt to your Jedi and Sith technology before they can take down even just FOUR Borg. OUT OF BILLIONS.

I say it copied because it was the ONLY other Space-centered series to use the Photon Torpedoes. THEY. COPIED. IT. In th case of dinosoar movies, Dinosoars are just dinosoars; they had no choice but to reuse them, but I'll bet they portrayed Dinosoars differently. For example, they portrayed them as evil in one film, but then good in another so they are DIFFERENT.
I'm afraid not; the Klingons hve already allied the Federation...and now, the Romulans, too. So there's no way you'll be able to defeat their ships; they're able to dsappear from sensors. You would be shooting blindly and wasting energy. Once your weapon compliment is exhausted, they will decloak and blast your ship half to hell.
Actually, Data is a form of comic relief; he TRIES to be funny. Besides, he gets an "Emotion Chip" later on, which allows him to feel emotions. Besides, R2-D2 isn't funny. He's a stupid little whistling thing that looks like a trash can with legs. C3P0 walks really stupidly. So TELL me WHAT IS SO FUNNY ABOUT THEM?
Data is not a bad guy; if he were working for the enemy, he would be working for the Borg, or the Xindi, or Species 8472. But of course you don't know who those are, because your primitive Star Wars series doesn't know about them. So just imagine what woud happen when the Xindi attack: BOOM. There goes your precious Star Destroyer.
They have BILLIONS of ships that regenerate after damage. Destroy one, another will come. Besides, the Borg would be able to assimiate plenty of your "Rebels" and then they would be addng to the strength of the Borg. Then th Borg would know their weaknesses, and know exactly how to obliterate your Rebels, and Darth Vader. Once assimilated, all knowledge is transferred throughout the Borg Collective, so too bad it looks like you lose. And for your information, the Borg do not HAVE a planet. They live on their ships. And they live in the Delta Quadrant, which is 750 THOUSAND light years away from Earth so good luck finding them before they find you.
We have plenty more than Earth! We have thousands of Starbases, Space Stations, Colonies and other planets and systems, not to mention the entire Romulan, Vulcan and Klingon empires. You couldn't take all that out before we take out all of your star systems. Sorry, but you LOSE.
