Seraph had awoken as he stretched and yawned, another day in Kurosia yet in his dreams he was still haunted by the sight of the yehkshir who had tried to kill him. Shaking his head as he composed himself and stepped outside.

The other kurosians were doing what most would, gathering food for their young, out hunting, some resting as others watched over their young.

He smiled but looked over to the way he had traveled before, he couldn't remember much but the face and roar of the yehkshir he would never forget yet for some reason he could not explain, something was telling him to go back there.

He turned toward the doors when then he heard the children cheering with joy as Queen Athrenna walked out from the castle, greeting the young kurosians as she was on her way to an Orphanage known as the Shinnan Orphanage, one that had been founded by Athrenna

Seraph followed "My Queen? May I accompany you?" he asked

She turned her head towards him and with a smile and nod of her head she allowed it.

Once they entered, Seraph saw many young kurosians, unfortunately family-less yet the caretakers showed them much love as athrenna did, not one of them treated different as all were cared for and read stories to as it was a warm, welcoming place.

"Gather around children" Athrenna said in a calm soft voice as they did so.

Seraph sat in the back, allowing many of the smaller kurosians to get as close as possible, Athrenna began to tell the children stories whether it was of her accomplishments or of the sea goddess Araudan.

Many of the young kurosians began to yawn after awhile, some already asleep as Athrenna continued. He spotted a young yinvaht female, trying to stay awake as she nearly fell and bumped into him. He smiled and brought a pillow over for her "Sleep little one, pleasant dreams" he said softly

She yawned and slept, shivering a bit as he brought a blanket to her and slipped it over her body, giving the young yinvaht female a little nuzzle as he smiled. Athrenna taking notice and nodding in response.

Once her stories were done, all the young kurosians were asleep as Seraph and Athrenna left the shinnan orphanage. "Your stories are quite amazing my queen" He said

"Thank you Seraph, You are quite kind even to the children of kurosia, helping the young yinvaht who had fallen asleep next to you, if only more dragons like you existed perhaps we wouldn't be so judged by the others, but nevertheless you have my gratitude of treating my people with kindness" She smiled

Seraph nodded in response and bowed "My queen" he said as she nodded in response.

He then took flight, practicing his speed and more, going into the woods and training himself against his own attacks and more, making sure that each attack or defense he made was on point as he knew one little mistake could be his last.

After a few hours of training did he return to the castle, finding a scroll at his door "Hm?" He said as he opened it, seeing it had come from Queen Athrenna.

"Dear Seraph, Your Loyalty to me has been proven and has been untainted. Even more you care for my people as if they are your family. My appreciation for the way you treat my people can only be expressed in this gift I have given you. I hope you will put it to great use. Queen Athrenna"

He opened his door to his room and gasped, there he saw Kuronium Battle armor. He got fully dressed in all of it, the helmet last to come on as he looked at himself in a mirror. Smiling as he wouldn't be able to thank Queen Athrenna enough for the battle armor. Changing into his dark form he raised the metal claws on the armor and smiled "This will do very nicely" He said, noticing how the armor was thick, not how warfang's was at all as he removed the armor, keeping it in a safe place.

Later that night, he tossed and turned in his bed, again haunted by the Yehkshir Rathier, gasping and panting as he put his head in his paws "Ugh...Damn Yehkshir" He said as he got up, seeing it rain outside.

"It's just like when I first encountered it" He said remembering how the storm raged while the Yehkshir took him.

He headed out into the forest, not sure why his mind was telling him to find her again.

One deep into the forest he sensed the same presence he did before "Your there aren't you.." He said with a growl

"mhmhmhmhm....Your senses serve you well....First you invade our nests then escape me...barely..hmhmhmhm.....and yet here you return in search of me" she said appearing in one place then another "Why?" she asked

"I don't know" He replied "I wish I knew but something kept saying to find you again"

Rathier laughed "and coming here just because something told you to find me, it's things like those that will get you killed my prey" she said coming up behind him. Wrapping her claws around him and looking down at him "Well Hello" She grinned

Seraph gulped but stood firm "Why did you.....well...you know" He said with a blush

"Awwwww hmhmhmhmhm, It's how we ensure our survival besides it's our nature, but I am surprised you are not fleeing, what's to stop me from killing you right now?"

"Nothing, do as you wish" Seraph said

"Ooohhh now there is where your wrong my prey, you see I still have use for you, it's so hard to find decent prey these days and you are just the perfect grunt I discovered, believe me my prey I still have much in store for you" She said coming closer "Whether you will accept your fate or not" She said as her lips met his

Seraph struggled at first but felt himself return the kiss, his claw holding hers

Rathier smiled as her eyes glowed, knowing he was slipping to her will, many prey escaped from other yehkshir, many of them horrified by what they saw or the fact that they never wanted to talk about what had just happened.

Seraph then regained himself, feeling her claw scrap against his scales, drawing blood. He then broke the kiss and ran, shaking his head "Damn you!!" he yelled

Rathier laughed as she looked on "You can run my prey but you cannot hide forever" she said as her eyes glowed, slipping back into the shadows
