Description
This is the sword that goes with my Yoh Asakura cosplay. Approx. 37" from the tip of the blade to the bottom of the hilt. Most of the sword is done in paper mache; a few of the details are done in Model Magic. There is a plastic strip running along the top of the cardboard blade (underneath the paper mache) to keep it stiff. All the detailing (aside from the hilt) was done in acrylic paint; and the blade was coated in a polyurethane varnish gloss to make it a bit shiny. The hilt was wrapped in red electrical tape.

I might start offering up custom katanas for sale...think there would be any interest?
