Ooooh I love all of the colors!! The design is cool and Middy is rendered very well. As for the water, I think the thing throwing it off is that there should be more ripples around where she is standing in it because the water looks too still for something to be coming out of it. Like, think of when you stick your finger in a still pool and the water ripples out in circular rings- it would look like that kind of effect. (I hope that makes sense...) But overall this is very nice! Keep it up~

Goodness, this is simply gorgeous! I love the soft shading here, and the light from behind adds a really neat effect! The way you drew out the water looks so neat as well~

For some reason I'm reminded of the River of Nile and the Egyptians.
Quite a nice picture of Middy although the eye lash going over the hair slightly annoys me (Or am I wrong?).
