day 21 part 3 of posting old art
basically, i finished the sketch and just wanted to leave it as that back in 2020
in 2021, i decided to color it so yeah

so some insight on this drawing for people who care to read this:
i doodled the drawing on the left after a test due to boredom

back in grade school, we had a contest of who can draw the best fantasy character [made from your imagination, of course]
everyone had to enter, so i thought i’d enter Drygon, so i drew him on the required paper to submit
i worked really hard on him

i didnt win [i never win contests lol still counting] and they didnt give us back our characters [to my disappointment]

to make up for my sadness about the fact i’ll never see my precious drawing ever again, i drew another drawing of him
i finished the sketch but never thought to color him [cuz i was still sad ;-; i still am]

in august 22 2021, i finally had the motivation to finish him!

TL;DR
i redrew a doodle cuz i entered the character in the doodle in a contest and didnt get my original drawing back [if that makes sense]
