So uh… July 7th is the day that I’ve first played Splatoon along with my brother.
And since this day is already past, I wanted to make something to celebrate my first year of Splatoon Experience.
So… I don’t know what to say first…
I’ve lived so many great moments.
Like, seriously. It was a game that I haven’t been interested way before its release. In fact, I remembered watching a video that gathered all the games for 2015 back in 2014 and there were Splatoon in it. I wasn’t really interested by the trailer but I was pretty interested by the concept. Yet I didn’t give much interest to that game actually. ^^’
Until I’ve play it on my own.
I never felt regretful in my whole life.
This game was such an amazing masterpiece from Nintendo. I’m not even a fan of shooter games but the concept just makes me want to deal with it. Ink the most turf, swim in the ink… Those make the game more unique and more fun!
Why do I have to play it one year later… T.T
Well, I really had fun during that whole year of experience. Though I wasn’t really perfect, I had the time to master the game and start to play a bit competitive after a couple of months.
About the world around, the whole universe was interesting! I like how the game takes place way after the disappearance of humans in earth, which are replaced by sea livings. The origins are interesting and kinda charming as well as it has real world events references in it.
The game has really charming characters with great personality~ From the Squid Sisters to the characters you can talk in Inkopolis such as Annie, Jelonzo, Crusty Sean et cetera. A few dialogues from them and its enough for me to appreciate them.
I love almost everything in this game. Kraken Lord. –-'
About matches, I wasn’t really good at Turf during my first hours. I needed the time to understand what actions to take depending on the situation, I also have trouble to change and cancel actions when getting in an unexpected situation. I guess that’s normal for a beginner lol
But I found out that I had certain level when it comes to covering. So huh, I found in the net that the brush exists. As soon as I reached the required level to unlock that weapon (level 8), I immediately tried it and like how much it covers the field. I totally remember that I’ve won my first match with the brush by 1000 pts + 1000 bonus pts. Which is… a lot actually x’3
I also wanted to try high fire rated weapons, such as the Splash-o-Matic, but realized that I wasn’t really good with guns. I ended up sticking with short ranged weapon such as Rollers for a good while. Way later, and after many months of doubts, I tried sniping in Ranked and did pretty good (9 kills in two matches wew). I used to hate snipers, and always scared to use chargers… Until that day.
Today, I still use Rollers category: I’ll stick forever to my Inkbrush, and I will likely use the Carbon Roller Deco more in Ranked, as well as the Octobrush Nouveau. I may use Sloshers / Chargers when Splat Zones comes. But one thing is sure, I will test all the weapon seriously when I hae more time~
Oh and yeah!
Not too long after I started the game I was aware of those events that everyone call “Splatfest”. I find the concept very fun and enjoyable; you need to vote and pick a side depending on the current theme suggested. Once you’ve done it, you have to participate in epic Turf Wars to defend your side.
Argh… Too bad that I’ve participated in only one Splatfest by far…
Callie vs Marie
I was forced to play all the Turf Wars like if they were my last. I did all my best, I tried to push my limit, but above all, I tried to have fun as much as I can. So hum… yeah by the way, it was hard for me to choose as I just started to play my game at that time (remember: the last Splatfest in Sp1 was on July 2015). I picked Marie since I easily like characters that are cool minded and laidback. I especially like her sarcasms during the news lmaooo
So in the end, Marie has won, and it was a beautiful victory. My first but also my last… The ratio of both popularity and winning matches are close to tie lol (49-51)
I especially liked how Nintendo put Calamari Inkantation at the second day of the Splatfest. It was just perfection and it adds a feeling of a "Finale". That pumped me up for the rest of the day xD

So huh... I don't know what to say anymore.
Oh shit I forgot one thing important

It is also the 2nd Anniversary of Splatoon XD (with a month later xDDD)
And it is also almost one year that I know its (SFM/GMOD users) community~
Well I have officially joined it in around November but I first saw the names of famous animators like , , , , ...
And many friends as well such as , , and many, many more, I couldn't even add everyone in the list lol rip sorry but that's because I do care of all of you, actually~ (I almost mentionned the people by order of the date I've met em lol)
I want to thank every people that I've met so far, and all those people that have accepted in the community, for what I am. I used to wish that I could be as famous as them. In the end I just want to meet every single person in that lovely community~
I had the time to evolve from my own by only spending time with you all. I want to thank you... Of all of my heart <3
