Now HERE's a good way of doing the animal human hybrid thing. People either go fur all over with the animal's head (predictable and boring and unless you go like, Van Helsing's Werewolf style it doesn't look like it really meshes well) or the classic cutsy anime with just the ears and tail (and occasionally claws/fangs), or occasionally classic wolfman which is cool and probably more genuine but...sort of ugly and goofy looking. THIS flows well, doesn't look like you are just picking and choosing, and manages to still look really kickass.
This might be my favorite of this sort of thing out there.
Not that the more classic ways of doing humanoid beasts are bad. I enjoy them as well. Just that this feels fresh and a bit more unique and I prefer it myself.

Thank you so much for the kind comments! Indeed i completely agree with you, i really dislike those anime kitsune characters, and i also don't like going full animal head unless the body is also beast-like.
For me it's always been a balance between human and beast features flowing in the design and not disturbing one another, otherwise it simply wouldn't look natural.Β

I have to tell you, I've seen almost each one of these here and would really think that it's either a mature version of a pokemon/digimon game.

if there was ever a human/anthro wolf hybrid design that I would use, it would be from you and specifically this one. if that's fine with you.

When i draw characters my focus is on the gender, rather than the species, so perhaps that's why all my drawings look somewhat consistent, if that's what you mean. Again thanks a lot for the kind words!
