For the next Zelda, I imagine a timeline where Ganon's son has the courage fragment. Maybe he has to stop/save his Father to restore Hyrule!Related content

I always thought it was a HUGE missed opportunity for BotW's Riju, the Gerudo descendent, not to be a boy. Not only would boyRiju have to prove himself to his mostly female culture, and to his ancestor Urbosa, who hates the connection the Gerudo have to Ganon; he would have to prove himself to himself, to prove he's not the King of Evil who haunts his nightmares.

This is such a cool idea. I love the design you gave him. I would imagine he would have a lot of internal struggles with his expectation coming from the dark side, and struggle a lot like Zuko did trying to switch and gain the trust of the good side and try to gain Zelda's trust. I think nintendo often feels uncomfortable making the bad guys good, and it took them a long time to warm up to even Bowser being a playable character at times, but I who knows, this is an amazing concept and you should totally make some sort of story out of it if you ever get the chance!

Awesome! But there's a little "however": we learn in Ocarina of Time that one single male Gerudo born after 100 years... But your idea is awesome! I thought his name could be Dann hehe ^^

Aw well he certainly is a cutie and received his dad's good looks. I love this idea though I wonder how he would get along with Link. Would he see him as an ally or a threat? Would he resent him for foiling his father's plans time and time again? It's such a fun thing to think about. Really great concept and love your take <3

Nice concept, but that's highly unlikely to happen.
Gerudos are known to only give birth to ONE male every hundred years.
And the only way for the Gerudo to conceive their young is to wonder beyond their palace walls in search for men from another village or city.

I think, if I'm not mistaken, in BOTW they might have retconned that by saying that it's now very rare for a male Gerudo to be born. One other solution could be that Ganon lives past 100 and his son is born soon after.
In my mind, Ganon's son is Link reincarnated and in this timeline there wouldn't be a traditional Link that you play as. That could be something that might work.
In any case it's just a fun idea, if Nintendo were to go with it I'm sure they would write their way around it to make it work, even if they wanted to keep a traditional Link in the story.

I'm pretty sure the reincarnating thing most of the time just applies to Zelda and Link. Ganon usually resurrects if I remember correctly.

Resurrect is the same person and body, just coming back to life. Think a mummy or zombie, minus the half dead part. Reincarnating actually requires you to be born again. Which actually would throw off only one man being born every 100 years. A dead body just coming back over and over due to the triforce of power, on the other hand, would not.

You DO realize Ganondorf has had a different body every generation right?
If it were the same body, then how come he looks different for every single game he's in?
If it were the same body, he would still have a long pointy nose and still have that bodybuilder look from OOT.
But nope, they gave him that fully armored look in Twilight Princess, and that ferocious God look from Hyrule Warriors (even though that's not canon) and so on and so forth.

Maybe the Triforce of Courage itself gets split into three, and is wielded by not only Ganondorf's son, but also the latest incarnations of both Link and Zelda

Wonderful, that sort of re-imaging flows well with games like Link Between Worlds and the Lorule cast.
Perhaps a piglet form for dungeon puzzle solving.
