"Welcome to the world of Squid Fighter III... prepare for battle!"

Started working on this on the summer of last year. I was into the Street Fighter craze again.

I'd figured that when I replayed Street Fighter III: Third Strike, I'd get that urge to parody it in anyway based on it's art and music direction and I just finished Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion at the time. And that would get me to sprout the idea of this pic cause of both the game's urban direction.

So, I did some portraits of some of Splatoon's major characters to the poses of the original fighters of the game:

Agent 8 - Alex
Agent 3 - Ryu
Agent 4 - Ken
Callie - Yun
Marie - Yang
