Any toy is right. Especially a dress up toy. I have no problems with you putting a sweater or a pair of shoes on an animal if the ground is freezing and they're a short/no hair breed like an Italian Greyhound or a Xolo. But if you're only going to get a dog or cat to stick it in little sweaters and use it as a fashion accessory, then may said dog relieve itself all over your bed and may it immediately be confiscated. Or, better yet, don't get the dog in the first place!

I think what they are trying to say is that animals are living, feeling creatures; not dolls that you just get tired of playing with and ignore or get rid of. They need our love and care too, like children do.
