Description The last year I request my students to make illustrations based on the Wizard of Oz history. At the same time I started to sketch some ideas about that topic, and now, I finally put them into the computer. I still need to work on this (details on the big cat, the yellow road, a decent background, etc), but I'll do that after finishing some paid projects.

Thanks heaps for the comment! I have some other drafts with this concept - with a real lion on it. And I hope to start doing those artworks soon.

Oh thanks! I was living in Australia this year, so I needed to do something about 'Oz'. The tin man was inspired in the robots made by Ashley Wood... and unintentionally it resembles the iron giant. In my version of the history, and iPod will be used as a heart inside the robot

That is such a great idea for the iPod, & maybe that's why I like him so much I'm pretty sure I bawled my eyes out while watching the iron giant lol. Where abouts in Australia were you staying?

Sydney, where 6 cousins of my dad live. I went there to meet them, visit the city, and learn english. I was an awesome experience

Thanks! When I was drawing I could imagine the whole movie in a modern way - well sort of, because it is still fantasy. At least it had lot of action and fun
