D'Vorah was easily the most interesting character introduced in MKX, found the other new characters just a tad boring to be honest

I think I can easily agree. The kombat kids received to much screen time and the storymode was all about them. But D'Vorah was interesting because she was really dangerous and made a great plot twist. She completely turned the game.
But I also like Kotal Kahn dubious character. Erron Black and Ferra/torr were just stylish, but still an interesting add. Though I really wished for fewer classic horror movie characters. Sindel, Rain and Baraka never had the chance because of them.
