JUSTICE AVENGERS INTERNATIONAL [Justice League International (comedic) + Avengers]

From left to right:

- Front row: Golden Avenger, Guy Quill and Rocket Dynamo.

Background info: This is one of the rosters of the Justice Avengers, based on the comedic Justice League written by Keith Giffen and J. M. deMatteis. The illustration is based on the iconic Kevin Maguire cover for Justice League #1, 1987. There's also one Marvel-centered roster (based on the Avengers movie/Avengers Assemble), as well as one based on the founders of both groups (see in the section "Group's general overview" below), one based on [JLA Satellite + 1970/1980's Avengers] and one random, not based on any specific roster of any group.
Altough the amalgamated heroes fit better to the more recent cover from Justice League: Generation Lost #24, I chose to use the original reference, instead of a second-hand reference. I replaced some heroes (Doctor Light, Captain Marvel, Doctor Fate, Black Canary, Mister Miracle and Oberon) with others who are more representative of the comedic League (Power Girl, Rocket Red, Booster Gold, Ice, Fire and Captain Atom). Regarding Mister Miracle and Oberon, I also hadn't decided with whom I would amalgamate them when I started the picture, and when I had an idea about this (at least for Mr. Miracle), it was too late for a replacement.

Group's general overview: The Justice Avengers formed when Loki Mxyzptlk brougt alien starfish-like creature Starro-Gorath [Starro + Shuma-Gorath] to Earth, just to mess with his brother Thor-El. Six other superheroes came to help, and they defeated both the creature and Loki. These other superheroes were: Blue Ant [Blue Beetle/Ted Kord + Giant Man/Ant Man/Hank Pym], Atom Wasp [Atom/Ray Palmer + Wasp/Janet van Dyne], Golden Avenger [Booster Gold/Michael Carter + Iron Man/Tony Stark], Dark Spider [Batman/Bruce Wayne + Spider-Man/Peter Parker], Marsdragon [Martian Manhunter/John Jones/J'onn J'onzz + Moondragon/Heather Douglas] and Aquamariner [Aquaman/Orin/Arthur Curry + Submariner/Namor McKenzie]. So, the group known as Justice Avengers was born.
Later on, some heroes joined the group, other departed. The JA disbanded due the intervention of conservative G. Gordon Gyrich [G. Gordon Godfrey/Glorious Godfrey + Henry Peter Gyrich], who was trying to turn the humanity against the superheroes, as well as hero against hero. After Gyrich was revelaed as an alien agent and defeated, some of the Justice Avengers founding members decided to gather a new group: the Justice Avengers International.

Atomic Jack [Captain Atom + Jack of Hearts]
Jack Adam underwent an experiment with a mysteryous alien fluid and a quantum field generator machine, a combination that gave him atomic powers. His stoic attitude led his fellows to often ask him: "Why so serious?".

Firespot [Fire + Sunspot]
Roberta "Berta" da Costa is a Brazilian metamutant, whose powers were amplified by a secondary mutation, triggered by the detonation of an alien mutagenic bomb. She is Icewoman's best friend.

Icewoman [Ice + Iceman]
Norwegian Roberta "Bobbie" Olafsdotter comes from a family of ice-powered metamutants (altough it skipped her parents' generation). She is best friend of her namesake Roberta da Costa mentioned above.

Power Woman [Power Girl/Kara Zor-L/Karen Starr + Power Man/Luke Cage/Carl Lucas]
Harlem-born Karen Lucas had her genetics altered by the infusion of Thorgirl's DNA, due to an experiment conduced by Victoria Waller [Amanda Waller + Victoria Hand]. She also uses the alias Kara Cage.

Giant Beetle [Blue Beetle/Ted Kord + Giant Man/Ant Man/Hank Pym]
Ted Pym is a brilliant scientist and entomologist. Along with his wife Janet Palmer a.k.a. Atom Wasp [Atom/Ray Palmer + Wasp/Janet van Dyne], he developed the Pym-Palmer Particles, that are able to change the size of their users, either for shrinking or for growth. He started his superheroic carrer under the codename Blue Ant (a homage to Golden Age superheroine Blue Spider [Blue Beetle/ Dan Garrett + Spider Queen/Shannon Kane]), but decided to change it to Giant Beetle.

Dark Spider [Batman/Bruce Wayne + Spider-Man/Peter Parker]
A tragic loss in Peter Wayne's childhood led him to become a crimefighter. A bite from a genetic altered (and somewhat radioactive) spider gave him the power and the focus he needed. He counts on the assistance of his female butler May Pennyworth [Leslie Thompkins (person), Alfred Pennyworth (role) + May Parker], who gave him Blue Spider's web-shooters, which he improved with modern technology.

Marsdragon [Martian Manhunter/John Jones/J'onn J'onzz + Moondragon/Heather Douglas]
Het'rr J'onzz (or Heather Jones, sometimes) is the resident telepath and shapeshifter. She's a Martian, descendant of an ancient colony of Skrullans [Durlans + Skrulls] on Mars– and also an omnisexual and appreciator of chocolate-and-vanilla cookies.

Golden Avenger [Booster Gold/Michael Carter + Iron Man/Tony Stark]
Genius inventor and money-maker Michael Stark came from the future along his robot buddy Jarveets [Skeets + Jarvis]. He loves to build armors for himself, as well as sell products based on the Justice Avengers: action figures, comics, mugs, T-shirts... and toilet paper. For this reason, he is known as "The Justice Avengers' financial hero".

Star Lantern Guy Quill [Green Lantern/Guy Gardner + Starlord/Peter Quill]
Altough seeming to be a complete jerkass, the wildest member of Star Lanter Corps [Green Lantern Corps + Nova Corps] is actually a good guy (no pun intended). He has a complicated romantic relationship with Icewoman.

Rocket Dynamo [Rocket Red/Dmitri Pushkin + Crimson Dynamo/Dmitri Bukharin]
России супергерой Дмитрий Пушкарин... sorry, I forgot to activate the universal translator... Russian superhero Dmitri Pushkarin was a cool, light-hearted and outgoing guy who loved being part of teams.
