Description
I’ve always wanted to dedicate a piece to my chihuahua (Pepi) but never knew how to best approach it. And after a couple of months of letting the concept dwell in my head I finally got an idea for it that I was happy with it.
It’s a bit out of the ordinary, and far from the usual animal portrait but I think it does have a deeper psychological effect on the viewer. The viewer along with the chihuahua is faced with a mysterious light, and both are staring at it. This way, the viewer and the dog are facing the same mystery together and sharing the same obsession (for lack of a better word)brings them both closer together.
