Drawing itself and concept art are two different things tough so don't get discouraged!
For this piece I had a simple 3D base layer and then used quite a bit of photo textures to get that amount of detail. Painting was the last step to make everything blend together and look beautiful.
Keep pushing and you'll get there!

How on earth is that piece of paper on the edge of the desk hanging on? Or are we seeing it at the point where it is falling?
