When the young cambion Baz accepted the Goddess of Hope and Redemption into his heart, she took him into hers in return. Kind and loving, she blessed the young man with eyes as green as her own, and welcomed him into her realm as a son.

Having grown up in the depths of the Abyss, Baz had never been shown honest warmth and affection. He was delighted to think of the Goddess as his new mother, and was utterly content just being able to spend time in her company.

The Goddess took Baz on picnics, treating him to delicious items such as sandwiches and cupcakes, which the cambion ate with great relish and enthusiasm. She showed him flowers and trees, which did not grow in the Abyss, and were new and amazing to Baz's innocent eyes.

She promised Baz that he was welcome to live happily in her realm forever, and offered to create something special just for him. Baz asked for a little pond. He loved being submerged in warm, clear water as he found the sensation soothing and pleasant. His mother granted his wish, giving the young cambion a place of his own where he could always feel safe and loved.

Now a Risen Cambion of Generosity, Baz spreads his Goddess' message of hope and redemption wherever he can. No matter how far his journey takes him, he always eventually returns home to his dear little pond.
