Good God, okay, I'm 1.) Badly out of practice on... well, anything. 2.) This is probably the first piece of artwork I've managed to finish in years? Let alone upload lmao.

Anyway, I've delved into a series of books known as The Summer King Chronicles, by Jess E. Owen. It's based around a Gryphon named Shard and I don't think there's a character in the book that doesn't stand out in some way.

I've been doodling the characters quite a bit, but managed to finish this one I started a few days ago of the wolf, Catori, she's an important catalyst that gets the plot rolling in the story and there's just not enough love for her. She needed more!

Y'all should check the books out if you enjoy fantasy novels with sentient creatures. It really is an awesome series and considering it usually takes a lot for me to get into a book and I've already read all four books in this set twice in the last few months, I highly recommend them!
