365 days of CyborgsI'm not really sure what purpose the Borg Queen plays amongst the Borg collective. I know there is a difference than what they wanted for Picard but not sure what. The detachable torso is my guess?

She was the central decision maker to the hive. She gave directions to the rest of the hive when they needed to protect themselves from enemies. She was mostly just meant to be badass though.

Locutus was like a PR manager. He was intended to be the mediator between Borg and Earth so that the assimilation would go more smoothly. The Borg Queen was actually in charge. She had more free thought. She wasn't just a follower. She facilitated.
