Description
This is one of those Chozo statues from the Metroid series. They always seem to be holding a nice little power up for our favorite space bounty hunter Samus Aran. Even though it kind of looks like a dragonball I assure you it's most likely something like the screw attack or space jump.Dang... I should have made it Samus in ball form, oh well.
I wish a collection of the Gameboy games would come out because I've only played a couple of them (but not beaten)

There were only three Gameboy games though.
Metroid II, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid Zero Mission.
(They should be fairly easy to find for emulators...)

Great job on the Chozo statue! Very detailed
The one Γ have to note is that the statue's beak is over the power up. Didn't the statues hold the power ups a little bit before them?
But it's a great picture nonetheless

Mega detail on this Chozo Statue dude! Hopefully it's not the one that tries to kill you after you get the power up. I hated that thing! Scared the crap outta me when I was younger! Lol!

I just drew the chozo for a metroid art contest on dA. Nice work, I've always loved these guys! Comparing the first Metroid to Alien, the Chozo almost seem like the Space Jockey.

The chozo and space jockey are also similar because it's hard to find good/consistent images of them to reference drawing.

The only Metroid I owned was Metroid Prime Hunters. Fun game, especially on Multiplayers. I wish one of the hunters of this game reappears in a next Metroid.
