You know when I look at Cogdis and compare it to Undertale, they both share an element I loved.
Which is showing the player that the "Monsters" we see in game are like "Normal" people like in the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year door. (I seriously want to see more of this again.) I mean it's always nice to know that everything is not out to kill you.
Both games take inspirations from earthbound and both feature "Megalovania" for a Super Boss.
Also, even better example of similarities is both Niiue and Sans are very similar in a sense. They both are portrayed as silly side characters who know much more then they let on. (both are depicted as depressing and act their ways to basically hide if from the player) I could go on and list similarities but that would take too long.

Cogdis also came out in 2012 and was updated in 2014 while Undertale was released in 2015 and updated in 2016.

Both even share the same people who worked on both games. (an example is a person named "Everdraed" appearing in the credits)

I could go on and on.
but ya know /owo/aliens i guess.

(I really do suggest playing either cogdis or undertale or both. Cogdis is Free and was made by 500+ fans while undertale is like 10 dollars)
