Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, cosplaying as Cole McGrath from the inFamous series.Drawn for my brother for his birthday. He really likes Derpy, and he loves the inFamous series, and after Derpy's own scene not long ago, this was just to obvious to pass up.
And on a side note... confound them ponies, they drive me to draw normal arts >.<
Hehe, but jokes aside, I think I still need some practice with drawing ponies, since I have quite a lot of pony arts planned >3 but I think my ponies aren't too shabby, eh ^^

Long story short, I pretty much detest that series, mostly for the complete idiocy of the main characters persona and for the high level of rip-offs from other games (mostly from other hack'n'slash games). I dare you to find one, at least ONE thing in GoW that wasn't used before, yet the creators still try to claim rights to every single rip-off they did...

Well, The only thing I've seen in GoW that was "kinda" new would be the way they disguise the main character as an super awesome MORTAL who beats GODS like it is nothing as a "good" character to most peopple. I still like the game tough, I agree with you on the flaws~

Actuaslly, pretty much each and every classic console style RPG has the main charas defeat gods of some kind, so that's hardly original, even more so since these guys do it themselves, and Kratos wouldn't do jack shit without the help of these very gods.
Whining for help when his life is in danger, whining for help when he can't do jack shit on his own, yet denies he ever got any help when he himself gets to be a god... once you take a closer look on this guy, he's just gets lamer and lamer...

Key. He hates the tough of dying without beeing sure he is leaving his friends in a safe world. So when he is about to get killed he whines for his life (mentally of course, he is too proud to whine for something like that outloud) And someone ends up saving him or he manages to get himself saved =7='' But that happens like once or twice so I guess its not that much of a big deal~

It all depends on the persona.
Kratos tries to be pure badassness, and when he's about to get killed, he calls for Ares's help ("save me, and y life is yours"), and when the deal doesn't end up as nice as he thought, he strikes a deal with other gods to kill Ares, and then when that deal doesn't end up as nice as he thought... you know the rest. In the end, it's more of a running gag. Not to mention, he's the only character whom I know to be able to barf on his own neck 
So when such a "badass" whines for life, it's downright laughable, but there are the less serious characters, for whom it just runs with their persona. Some good examples would be Dante (who gets stabbed through with his own sword in almost all DMC games), Ragna, Axl, Travis Touchdown and so on, who are carefree and easygoing, and have quite a few better things to do than fying
Heh, and thenm, there are those who are too badass to let themselves die, like Dante (the Dante's Inferno one) or Chakan (though I really doubt you'll know this one), who were facing Death itself and fought against it to keep their lives (and both won |D), or War from Darksiders, who demanded (neither begged nor pleaded, he DEMANDED) to be left alive, cause he wanted to get revenge on the ones who set him up >3
So like I said, it all goes with the persona. Key isn't a serious character, or at least I don't see him as one (correct me if I'm wrong |D), so it's OK for him to want to live. But when whining for ones life directly contradicts the character (especially the "badass-don't-fuck-with-me-Spartan" who wasn't supposed to be afraid to die in the first place...), it pretty much proven how badly written the character is (or makes him a parody of himself).

Well if you meant serious as in "I'm so badass I can take on the world" type, no he's not |3 He's bipolar, as I said on that old Key journal, He can either be an mature guy, and (try to look like an) awesome "hero" and from that he can start acting like a 10 year old child (mostly when he engages with an argument with Makoto and they both end up throwing punches everywhere). But when a serious fight shows itself, the chances of him acting like a child are close to zero, as long as he understand the seriousness of the situation. And since he hates losing fights, even more when he is fighting to protect someone, he wouldn't accept defeat, and anything counts to keep him alive so he can acomplish the goal he is fighting for.
Wouldn't be any fun If I made an all serious character, and make him lost fights and SOMEHOW in the last minute finds power and wins (thats so effin cliche it would make me kill myself if I used it all the time) Its better to let him be saved and learn his own weakness then always make him win and learn nothing.
