That linework looks really nice. I love the variation of the thickness because it gives the image a more interesting and dynamic look.
I think the simple backgrounds also matches the picture quite well.
The thing I think you need to work on is your shading, mostly for the clothes. Right now you can see individual brush strokes and you can't really see where the light comes from. I would recommend drawing cleaner, larger shapes for the shadows while keeping the direction of the light in mind. You might also want to increase the saturation in the shadows, to avoid making the clothes look dirty.
Anyways, she looks really cute~ I love your way of drawing the eyes .

yes I am always trying to work on shading, the times it looks the best is when i'm using a reference and a colour wheel
in this picture the light was meant to be coming from the left with blue back lighting
the shadow tip will come in handy, thank you!
