My mom adopted our family's first dog a couple of years ago. Her name is Sophie and she's a spoiled black Pomeranian. I don't think I've ever loved an animal so much (and believe me, I love animals). I doodle her all the time, but I've never made a serious attempt at drawing her. Thought I'd remedy that. I wanted to do something stylistic and sort of cartoony, and I tried out a few new techniques while I was coloring. I'm very happy with the result.Related content
