My picture is based on the official concept art Disney already released of Moana. I don't know everything about the history and background of the polynasian culture and didn't want to be historicly correct. And to be honest this person does take Disney movies way to serious. This is just a movie for god sake, a fairytale made for kinds and people who remaind a child at heart. In fact....if Disney makes fairytales with just caucasian protagonists people scream that they are racists, if they make a movie with a colored protagonist people scream that they are stereotyping their culture! Come on... they can't make it right, can they? Some people always find someting to complain about. I look forward to the movie and for me it will be what it's supposed to be...a fairytale and not a political historical documentary!

It should be historically correct, but still have some fun. They're doing a movie on somebody elses culture, so they should try to make it accurate. Im glad they're making a movie about our people, but we have VERY different cultures as well as languages. People are already confused on what a Polynesian is, it'd be best not to make more confusion.

Haha...no it's Disney's upcoming polynesian princess. The movie will be released in 2016 but they will hopefully show some more concept art for Moana at the d23 expo this year 😊

Ich freu mich tierisch auf dem Film, aber ich wünschte Disney würde ein paar neue Infos + Bilder rausrücken. Na ja, vllt heben sie sich ein paar Neuigkeiten für die D23 Expo auf
Ich hoffe der Film kommt in DE zeitgleich mit den USA raus wie Frozen und nicht Monate später wie BH6...

Ich freu mich auch voll drauf! Ich sehe türkisfarbenes Wasser, schöne Tauchsequenzen, weiße Strände, unberührte Inseln... Ocay, vllt sollte ich mit meinen Wünschen zurückhaltender sein um nicht enttäuscht zu werden xD Aber der Film klingt ein bisschen nach Urlaubsfeeling, kommt bestimmt gut an im November wenns draußen kalt und dunkel ist.

Götter sind, hoffe ich, gesetzt da Maui ein Halbgott ist. Und ja bitte Meerjungfrauen und Geister, ein kleiner Exkurs in Polynesische/ Ozeanische Mythologien *~* Ich stell mir den Film total farbenfroh und tropisch vor... Und die Musik wird ein Traum <3 Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson soll ja auch selbst im Film singen, ich gaube wenn das stimmt wird das ein Knaller!
